Fans of the king of fruits are in for a treat this season, as Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu's team once again bending the rules a bit on its No Durian Policy by having "Durians" in the hotel only for this month of September & October at its Promenade Café, Dynasty Restaurant and Deli Corner.
This year, according to the hotel's General Manager, Mr. Hafizan Wong, "We want our hotel patrons (especially Durian fans) to enjoy 2-month long of luxury indulgence in the comfort of a hotel environment. Our team of Master Chefs has creatively used the right hint of the King of Fruits from savoury dishes to desserts to enrich the overall taste of each delicacies."

Apart from durian delicacies, the hotel also set up a durian stall at its hotel car porch selling local durians for the convenience for its house guests.
