Perarakan Hari Kebangsaan ke-62 di Kota Kinabalu

Assalamualaikum ! Rasanya belum terlambat untuk ucap SALAM MERDEKA kat korang. Harapnya kemerdekaan ini akan kekal sampai bila-bila.

Sebenarnya nak kongsi ja cerita di pagi 31 Ogos hari tu. Alkisahnya tiba-tiba teringin nak tengok live perarakan hari kebangsaan, apa taknya seumur hidup Kmia cuma tengok kat tv jak. Huhu. Sadiss ...
So tak mau anak-anak Kmia jadi cam uminya ni hehe, maka gigihlah kami awal pagi bergerak dengan harapan sempat melihat perbarisan tu semua.

Kami sampai agak lewat tapi masih sempat jugalah tengok perarakan tu semua terutama perbarisan dari pasukan-pasukan Polis dan Tentera. Rasa teruja pula tengok mereka berbaris dengan uniform lengkap dengan senjata.

Biar panas berdenting, sanggup ni duduk kat tepi jalan sampai habis perarakan.

During the trip, the accomplished chef met up with Hilton Kota Kinabalu's Executive Chef Shanmuganatha and shared the recipe for one of her signature dishes, Kapitan Chicken Curry. A well loved favorite in South East Asia, the aromatic dish utilises a blend of spices often used in Malay cooking and is frequently enjoyed with piping hot white rice or Roti Jala.

Coombes' recipe features a delightful spice paste made from a host of local ingredients such as ginger, galangal, lemongrass, dried chilli, shallots and more. The foundation of the punchy dish, the fragrant paste is balanced with thick coconut milk for a creaminess and tamarind concentrate for a hint of tanginess.

The celebrity-inspired signature dish is now a permanent fixture in Urban Kitchen's à la carte menu, the first for all-day dining restaurant with global culinary selections with local specialties and western favourites. The delicious Kapitan Chicken Curry is a welcomed additions at RM48 nett.
