The Christmas Wish Project is one of the many CSR efforts organised by the Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu. This year, the hotel collected the 127 Christmas wishes from hostels for underpriviliged students namely Don Bosco and Woori Jib, and homes for special needs - Bukit Harapan and Care Haven. According to General Manager Rachael Harman, 'Christmas is a time of giving and sharing, and is not limited to those that we love and care for. We have the capacity to make someone's Christmas brighter, so we hope our generous guests will share the joy of giving with the residents of these homes.'
Guests can select their Christmas Wish Card from the Christmas tree at the hotel lobby, purchase the item stated and return the wrapped gift to the hotel by 20th Dec 2018.
